Patience and Prudence

Prudence and her sister Patience are daughters of Mark McIntyre .
Mark McIntyre was an orchestra leader, pianist, and songwriter who accompanied Frank Sinatra on piano during the 1940s.

In the summer of 1956, he brought his daughters, 11-year-old Prudence and 14-year-old Patience, into the Liberty Records studio in Los Angeles, California. They made a demonstration recording of the song, "Tonight You Belong to Me," which had been a hit for Gene Austin in 1927, and was written by Billy Rose and Lee David. Liberty signed them and immediately released a recording of the girls singing the song as a commercial single and by September the song reached #4 on the Bilboard charts and #28 in the UK Singles Chart, and was the biggest selling record put out by Liberty for two years. It sold over one million copies and reached gold record status .

BANGKA TRIP with myBoyfriend family

Myboyfriend family's asked me to take part for the holidays to Bangka.
they also wanted to introduce me to their brethren in Bangka
because me and my boyfriend are getting married in the month of november 2013
then they also wanted me to know who their ancestors in Bangka

This is a picture I took during a trip to Bangka and what my activities there

here come the sun

just arrived

all is green , and no traffic jam

our Lunch , i choose Lempa Ikan for my favourite Bangka foods

 we were greeted with a warm
family of all my boyfriends dad is a doctor
they are not as scary as I thought
and most people who I admire as it is uncle Teddy
He came away from the Netherlands for the family reunion

 Uncle Teddy told me many things
I thought at old age, he will tell us about religion
but my guess was wrong
he prefers to talk about aliens and science


activities on the second day was to visit the tombs of the ancestors of the family Thong, family of my boyfriend's father.
Thong family was very influential in Bangka 
Doctor Thong are good people most admired in Bangka

 the next day we hunt traditional foods farts
pork noodles, crackers kemplang, and do not forget I asked for the recipe Lempa Fish

and returned to Jakarta
